Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Cut the Bread: Slice the bread into 1-inch cubes.
- Dip the Bread: Submerge each bread cube in the egg mixture, letting it soak for a few seconds.
- Cook the Bites: For frying: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the bread cubes, turning them every 2–3 minutes, until golden brown on all sides. For baking: Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). Grease a baking dish, arrange the coated bread cubes, and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle powdered sugar or drizzle with syrup. Add fresh berries or whipped cream if desired.

- Use day-old bread for better absorption.
