- 4 beef short ribs
- 2 tablespoons oxtail seasoning
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the short ribs with oxtail seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Brown the ribs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add beef broth and thyme, then return ribs to the pot.
- Cover and cook for 2.5-3 hours until tender.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, let the ribs marinate in the seasoning overnight.
